Tanisha Williams is the owner of BuckleBath Brooklyn.
She was born in Brooklyn but over a twelve year period she lived in California and Hawaii, where her father served in the Marines. While traveling to Brooklyn to visit family Tanisha reconnected with her childhood friend and now husband Jamel. Jamel and Tanisha know each other from attending the same kindergarten class together! After a few years of long distance dating in high school they were married in 1998 and their first daughter Kayla was born in 2001. After sixteen years of trying Tanisha and Jamel were blessed to have twin girls Nyla and Eisa who are now five years old. After working for 26 years in upper management positions in Retail Tanisha felt it was time for a change and wanted the flexibility to spend more time with their kids.
Tanisha has always dreamed of being a business owner and is passionate about offering a service that helps busy families to keep their young ones clean and healthy while riding in their car seats and strollers. A recent survey conducted by OnePoll, found that Mothers spend an average of 97 hours weekly on parenting tasks, stretching themselves so thin that other important aspects like properly cleaning a car seat and stroller may get neglected.
